California Sportsmen Radio Fun

Saturday, May 18, 2019 on the KHTK1140 microphone…taking care of business! One of the fun-est things I get to do is my “Get A Clue” segment every Saturday. It’s been going on for a long time, since 1999, so I’ve given lots of clues. I get to select my subject, write it and perform it on air!

Sep & I have been “on air” with the show since June of 1997…as a matter of fact, in a couple of weeks, on the June 1st show, we’ll start our 23rd year! Kent Brown of Ultimate Bass joined us in October of 2005 so he’s got an anniversary coming up in a few months too. Funny thing, even though this commitment cuts into activities sometimes, never have we felt it was imposing on our lives. We do take the odd Saturday off now and again and Kent covers for us very well, but it has become so much a part of what we do that we just get up early…and do it!

I have a blast, both setting up the production end, keeping the “boys” on track, and my participation with the “Get a Clue” part. Thought you’d like to see where it takes place!
