The new boat has arrived! We met with Mark Blanton, Gone Fishin’ Marine in Dixon on Tuesday, checked it out & headed home with the 2020 KINGFISHER 1825 Falcon. It’s 18’ 3” in length – on a single axle EX Loader trailer, a very neat, compact unit.

The stats on the equipment include a 115 HP 4-stroke Mercury motor and Motorguide Xi-5, 24-volt 80 lb. thrust, wireless remote trolling motor. It has a Lowrance HDS LIVE 7 with Lowrance LIVE transducer, two Scotty #1106 downriggers and a plug-in automatic battery charging system for all batteries. Oh, and full canvas too.

We’re in the process of getting our stuff ready for action – rods, reels, tackle, lifejackets…etc., etc. and are excited about getting out on the water. The kokanee are calling so it will be Lake Berryessa, real close to home.
